Second Date

The second date is really important for establishing a new relationship. This can be considered as second chance to make a second impression, only this time, both of you can loosen up a little. The second date can be more about fun and it is an opportunity to know each other little more personally. Once you have had a successful first date and have made contact again to set up a second meeting it is wonderful how many people start questioning the situation and worrying unnecessarily. When people may desire to arrange a second date, confidence levels should be high because you have already established a mutual attraction and interest level, so don’t forget that he/she has already indicated they like you a lot. People at the time of first date may have been short and sweet but the desire is high on both sides and so it’s a best time that you need to expand the situation into something more real.

You can never go wrong by keeping this simple and just going to a park or movie. However taking more imaginative approach may increase your partner's passion for you. Be open and willing to your date's loving overtures. Don’t deny any gesture of physical affection with a warm touch. Generally it is a technique to male who makes the first move, but it is perfectly acceptable for the woman to initiate intimacy too. The second date is like a big opportunity for you to flirt with each other a little more. Flirting will keep the relationship bright and alive. It would be friendly and it flatters your partner. One big ban, particularly for men, is flirting with other females while you are on the second date. Many men do this to make themselves, look popular to the opposite sex, but many women feel bad and interpret this as a real insult. If your date flinches or pulls away by your warm touch, it should be a sign to you that they are not sexually interested and for some reason (probably out of politeness), have decided to play a part in a charade with you. If this happens, briefly express your disappointment to him or her, and say good-bye and go home. There are so many individuals out there who will do this to dates, simply because they mistake lovers for parents, therapists and nurses.

As you are still single, consider it is only the second date; so do not make the mistake of totally committing to your partner. Make it smartly, clear to him or her that there are plenty of more fish in the sea if she or he shows the slightest disinterest. So that it might sound a little manipulative and this is the way to keep your partner's sexual interest alive. However it does not mean that people should compare their date's attributes to other lovers they have courted in the past. Creating confusion or jealousy is not fair play in the dating game. Many dating experts suggested that wait until six dates have passed before two people sleep together. Of course, many persons are involved in the sex on the first and second dates. Just remember that if you plan to have sex, you must prepare yourself by packing away appropriate birth control in your purse or pocket.
